Our client is a prominent renal care services provider in the US, delivering quality healthcare to its diverse patient base through a vast network of dialysis centers.
The renal care provider was using a legacy audit application to oversee the operations of all its facilities. They were required to carry out essential surveys, gather metrics on various aspects, and mitigate all potential risks to ensure regulatory compliance with laws such as HIPAA and the HITECH (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health) Act. However, their existing application presented several challenges that limited their ability to proactively identify issues within the system, devise appropriate improvement plans, and subsequently implement them through necessary follow-ups. Moreover, their legacy audit application also lacked intuitiveness and had scalability constraints critical for their continually expanding network.
