We are looking for a DevOps Specialist who will be working on GCP / Terraform- based cloud implementations. You will be working very closely with the delivery team, other stakeholders, and customers, developing a CI/CD and DevOps system to suit customers’ needs and monitoring their existing systems, built using these technologies. A very well tech-savvy, self-driven person with strong experience in GCP DevOps implementations, would be a good fit for this position.

Work within an agile team of Engineers and Operations personnel building highly resilient, scalable, and performant GCP infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner. You’ll collaborate alongside Application DevOps teams and cross-functional IT teams and will be required to use your initiative to innovate to achieve maximum performance and be prepared to investigate and use new products/services offered by GCP.

Responsibilities:

·       Build and manage the platform to enable application deployments.

·       Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure as Code methods (e.g., Terraform)

·       Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers)

·       Manage SDN in GCP

·       Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security.

·       Ensure compliance with Operational risk standards (e.g., Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)

·       Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities.

·       Engineering activities to implement patches provided centrally.

·       Support non-functional testing

·       Update support and operational documentation as required.

·       Fault find and support Applications teams.

·       Ensure good change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards.

·       Provide impact assessments as requested for changes proposed on GCP core platform.

Required Technical Skills

·       4+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services including (GCE, VPC, Autoscaling, IAM and GCS)

·       6+ years of build and deployment automation (Continuous Integration/Delivery) experience using Azure DevOps

·       Infrastructure as code automation (CloudFormation, Terraform)

·       Experience with modern scripting languages, Python, PowerShell are preferred.

·       In depth knowledge of high availability (HA) design and implementation across AWS services

·       Understanding of general database technologies and maintenance (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora)

·       Familiarity with AWS networking and routing technologies (VPC, Security groups, NACL, Route53, Load Balancing and Availability zones)

·       General understanding of AWS security practices (KMS, Secrets Manager, encryption, Iam Roles)

·       Enterprise-level job experience, focusing on high volume, scalability and reusability when architecting automated solutions.

·       General knowledge of traditional network, firewalls, and load balancers

·       Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

·       Certifications: GCP certification

Education & Experience

B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A/MSc (preferably in Computer Science/IT)
