The client is a prominent dialysis services provider in the US, creating new benchmarks in renal care by efficiently combining human expertise with technology prowess to transform patient experiences.
Business Challenge
The healthcare organization had been using a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution to store its patient records, which enabled them to streamline data management to a great extent. However, this existing EHR solution lacked certain advanced features that were necessary to improve the flow of information across the organization that would enable enhanced care delivery.
To meet these patient-centric goals, the organization decided to customize the EHR solution and sought experts who could build a modernized EHR platform and effectively integrate this with its various existing systems and processes.
Solution Offered
As the first step, our experts conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the client’s existing EHR software and other systems. Subsequently, a proof of concept (POC) was presented for approval before proceeding with the customization of the EHR solution as per the healthcare organization’s specific business goals.
The customization involved adding custom CCL programs, MPages, and workflow reports, among other advanced features to the organization’s EHR platform. These new features were seamlessly integrated with its other workflows for improved interoperability and exchange of data.
Snowflake database was deployed for flexibility, security, and quick access to data. Angular was utilized to make the software user-friendly and fast.
Additionally, our experts performed exhaustive unit testing, aiming for at least 85% code coverage, to verify the application’s security.
With everything in place, the client now had an advanced EHR platform that simplified the flow of information across the organization and improved focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
